150 representatives from Vaughn, HKS Inc., and trade partners gathered to celebrate the topping out of a103,000 SF 50-Bed Facility in Harlingen, for which Vaughn serves as construction manager-at-risk. The milestone marks a clear transition from structural work into the build-out phase.

“This milestone marks the halfway point and signals our transition from structural work into the build-out phase,” said a Vaughn superintendent. “Our strong coordination and disciplined execution propelled the project forward.”

The 50-Bed Facility is part of a statewide initiative to expand and modernize inpatient psychiatric care. The facility modernizes aging infrastructure and expands access to essential services, including private patient rooms, clinical treatment spaces, administrative offices, security operations, dining and food service areas, mechanical yards, and therapeutic outdoor courtyards.
