Vaughn recently hosted a topping out ceremony for the City of College Station’s New Police Department. Vaughn is serving as the construction manager-at-risk on the approximately 75,000 SF project, which includes a two-story operations and office
building and an 11,000 SF, single-story pre-fabricated metal building. Members of the College Station City Council, the City Manager’s Office, and leaders of the College Station Police Department signed the final beam before it was lifted into
place in the lobby entrance of the new building. During the luncheon celebration, Police Chief Scott McCollum specifically praised Vaughn for maintaining the project schedule despite a significant amount of local rainfall. Vaughn’s project manager,
Kevin Rosprim, also delivered remarks and thanked the construction workers for all of their hard work. The project has a total construction value of $25 million and is scheduled for substantial completion in March 2020. The project architect is PGAL. Learn more about this project.
