How can a construction firm provide a positive patient experience?

By putting the needs of your patients above the needs of healthcare construction.

For over 30 years, we have partnered with world-class medical institutions to construct state-of-the-art facilities that advance wellness and healing. When we collaboratively plan a healthcare construction project, we put patients first, so your institution can continue to deliver the highest levels of patient care and maintain patient satisfaction scores, even during healthcare construction.

Put Patients First

Your patients are top priority. Our healthcare construction projects have dedicated patient advocates who continuously monitor our work from the caregiver’s and patient’s perspective. We implement strict infection control protocols, extensive interim life safety measures, and construction methods that mitigate noise, dust, and vibration, to be as unobtrusive as possible. We erect fence screens, temporary walls and partitions to ease wayfinding and make hospital construction invisible.

Maintain Hospital Workflows

During the planning stage of a hospital construction project, we sit down with building operations staff and patient care staff to understand campus flow and building operations. We develop phasing plans to find least impactful times and methods of healthcare construction. We proactively plan our work to maintain smooth flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic around ambulance bays, helipads, emergency drives, and loading docks. We provide good wayfinding and a welcoming site, so even during construction, your patients feel taken care of.

Implement Medical Facility Construction Best Practices

With our extensive experience building state-of-the-art healthcare facilities, we bring a wealth of knowledge to your project. Our supervisors are experienced in healthcare construction. Many of them have received healthcare construction training through the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) and several are Certified Health Care Constructors (CHC). Whether you need a clinic, hospital, or academic medical center, we will ensure your facility supports your ability to deliver quality healthcare services.
