The six-story, 334,300 SF agency headquarters for the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) will allow TDEM to consolidate its staff and enhance communication during emergencies. Equipped with advanced communication and technology systems, the facility is designed to withstand 200 miles-per-hour windstorms. The building will provide ample meeting rooms, a joint information center, a press conference room, and food service space. TDEM’s new headquarters, built out of traditional steel-framed construction and mass timber, is slated to reach substantial completion in August 2026.
