Alamo Colleges held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of its new Victory Center at San Antonio College. The ceremony coincided with Military Appreciation Month, a fitting tribute to the facility's purpose of serving veterans and active military personnel with enrollment and support services to continue their education. The 20,000 SF, two-story facility functions as the new main entrance to the campus. The center provides office, instructional, and common spaces that create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for the building’s occupants. The building houses necessary services such as financial aid, enrollment/registration assistance, job training, targeted academic advising, VA and Hazlewood certification, and mental health support to the growing population of San Antonio veterans. Alamo Architects was the design firm. Learn more about this project.
