The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley recently selected Vaughn Construction to serve as the construction manager-at-risk on the new School of Medicine Institute of Neurosciences Building. The first phase, consisting of a 30,000 SF facility located on 35 acres of land in Harlingen, Texas, will be a designated center for research on brain health and other aspects of neurosciences. The project is planned to have additional phases. This phase has an anticipated construction cost of approximately $20 million. Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2020 with substantial completion in July 2021.
