In December 2020, Vaughn began construction of the new $6.5 million University Police Department, which provides services to a growing student population. The 15,500 SF, single-story facility houses administrative spaces, an emergency call center, storage space, and secured parking for personal and patrol vehicles. The emergency call center will be staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The project is scheduled for completion in January 2022.
