Collin College Celebrates the New Farmersville Campus with Ribbon Cutting

2654-01_Ribbon-Cutting_BodyCollin College hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by an open house event, in May 2021 to formally open the Farmersville campus. The event drew a crowd to the college district’s newest campus. Vaughn served as the construction manager-at-risk for the $22 million project. Beck served as the architecture firm.

The new 60,000 SF, single-story education building will provide greater access to higher education for residents of eastern Collin County. The building houses all the college’s functions, including the Bursar’s office, registrar, a library, seven classrooms, three computer labs, two science labs, and a workforce lab. Collin College predicts 1,250 students will attend this campus to take classes in agriculture, business management, accounting, marketing, programming, eBusiness development, logistics and transportation, information technology, and supply chain management.
