Texas Health and Human Services Breaks Ground at El Paso State Supported Living Center Baseball Field and Multi-Purpose Court

Texas Health and Human Services recently broke ground at the El Paso State Supported Living Center on an outdoor baseball field and multi-purpose basketball and soccer court, for which Vaughn serves as construction manager-at-risk.

“The Living Center serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who need medical, habilitative, or behavioral support beyond what’s available in the community,” said a Vaughn project manager. “The baseball field and court will help promote independence and teamwork for the Living Center residents. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Texas Health and Human Services.”

The project also includes window replacements to four resident homes and main office building renovations.

The project expects to reach substantial completion in March 2024.
