Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) recently named Vaughn Construction the general contractor for the 17,000 SF Preston Smith 3rd Floor Renovation project. The upgrades allow for additional study seating, four new restrooms, and student lounge areas.
Our experience with similar TTUHSC projects and ability to deliver projects on time amidst procurement challenges in the construction industry helped us win the project. “This is our first project in over five years that will be managed by the Owner’s side by facilities planning and construction for TTU,” said a Vaughn project manager. “TTUHSC selected us because we have built a working relationship with them for fifteen years. They trusted us because of our previous work in the building and knew they could rely on us to get the project done right.”
We look forward to providing more details as this project progresses. Substantial completion is slated for August 2024.
