The Esperanza Veterans Center serves the growing needs of veteran students. As Northwest Vista’s first dedicated veterans' building, it offers comprehensive support services, including counseling, work-study areas, and social spaces. The center features an open floor plan with abundant natural light and outdoor spaces, including a dog park and porches, fostering a tranquil environment for veterans pursuing further education on campus.
The building is in a heavily wooded area with many trees protected by the City of San Antonio. To minimize disruptions to the natural environment, we implemented a comprehensive logistics plan that routed all material deliveries to an adjacent laydown yard and followed specific travel paths on to the site. Our team designated access points and storage areas and ensured all heavy equipment navigated the site safely to protect the surrounding trees.
