This expansion supports increased capacity in the student service department. Renovations included upgrades to student orientation classrooms, and staff, administrative, and executive offices. A new multipurpose room with stadium seating and a stage take the place of a pre-existing sunken patio, and the main entrance received upgrades including a new media wall outfitted with 55-inch televisions. On the building’s façade, new modular metal wall panels contrast with existing red brick for an aesthetically pleasing exterior.
The Owner requested the main distribution frame (MDF), which served the entire campus, remain both accessible and operational throughout the project. To ensure consistent staff access to the MDF room, we established a dedicated path complete with gate access, which we rerouted as needed to capture the entirety of the space. We also installed three wall-mounted mini-split AC units to prevent equipment from overheating and ensure the MDF operated continuously.
