The Houston Methodist West expansion project includes a three-story, 60,160 SF addition to the West Tower featuring an expanded emergency department, new surgical suites, and an observatory unit. Additionally, a one-story expansion to the original hospital will enhance food services with refrigeration and dry storage areas. The project encompasses central utility plant upgrades and an expanded ambulance bay to improve overall functionality. Multi-phased renovations totaling 76,052 SF are planned for levels one through four of the existing facility.
